Honor added in MagicOS 11 new function Tuning Masterwhich allows you to customize the sound of your smartphone in much more detail. The update became available with the official release of MagicOS 11 on September 15, and so far is mainly intended for flagship models.
Tuning Master gives you more control over the sound
The main feature of Tuning Master — 10-band equalizerwith which the user can individually change different sections of the frequency range. This gives much more control over the sound than the standard ready-made profiles. For quick setup, Honor has also provided separate switches for gain bass and vocals. Therefore, users do not have to manually adjust each band of the equalizer. Five ready-made modes are available in Tuning Master:
- powerful bass;
- clear vocals;
- distinct high frequencies;
- energetic background music;
- smoother sound for audiobooks.
In addition, smartphone owners can create and save their own profiles. For example, adjust the sound for music, movies or headphones separately and switch between them as needed.
Already existing Honor smartphones received the function
The 10-band equalizer itself is not a new technology for smartphones. However, Honor has not previously given users this level of control over sound in the system software. It is also important that Tuning Master appeared via MagicOS 11 updateand did not become an exclusive function of the new generation of smartphones. At the start, Honor confirmed support for seven models:

Thus, for now, the feature is focused on expensive and flagship Honor smartphones. For budget models, the company did not announce specific update dates. Therefore, it is not yet known whether mid-range smartphones will receive Tuning Master within MagicOS 11.
