Company Honorwhich recently introduced the Magic 9 series, can cook immediately several new smartphones. According to the leak, there are at least in development four devicesincluding the Honor 700 Pro, the new 7-inch model of the X series, a wide foldable smartphone and a phone with a retractable display.
The information has not yet been officially confirmed by Honor. Most specs are attributed to a known Digital Chat Station insider, so final specs and model names are still subject to change.
The Honor 700 Pro may get a second screen on the back
One of the nearest novelties may become Honor 700 Pro. According to preliminary information, the smartphone is being tested with a small one 1.72-inch display on the back panel. The main screen will supposedly have a diagonal 6.57 inches1.5K resolution and flat design. Very thin and almost symmetrical bezels around the panel are also reported. Another feature of Honor 700 Pro can be 200-megapixel main camera. It is the additional display that looks to be the most interesting part of the leak. Honor already offers for the series Honor 600 a magnetic mini-display that is installed on the back panel of the smartphone. In the new model, the company is rumored to be able to integrate a similar screen directly into the body. It is expected that the Honor 700 series may debut in China in November or December.
Honor may launch a 7-inch X-series smartphone
Another device that Honor is allegedly working on is a new X-series smartphone with a very large 7-inch display. According to preliminary data, the manufacturer places the main emphasis on autonomy. Honor seems to have already started test production of a battery cell with a capacity of approx 12,000 mAh. At the same time, there is no confirmation that the future 7-inch smartphone will receive this particular battery. Therefore, the figure of 12,000 mAh should not be considered the final characteristic of the device yet. If Honor does put a battery of this capacity in a smartphone, it will be one of the largest batteries among current models, but for now it is only a possible component.
The wide foldable Honor can get a battery of more than 7000 mAh
The most interesting novelty in the leak is wide foldable Honor smartphone. Unlike models with a narrow body, which after unfolding more resemble a tablet in portrait orientation, the new device will allegedly have a wider format. Previous sources attribute to him:

- 5.5-inch external screen;
- main camera on 200 MP;
- periscopic telephoto lens;
- battery capacity more than 7000 mAh;
- Qualcomm’s upcoming 2nm Snapdragon chip.
The declared battery capacity is particularly interesting. For a foldable smartphone, a battery of over 7,000 mAh would be very large, but for now, this is just a leaked information. Previously, there was also an estimate of the starting price at the level 9999 yuanwhich is approximately $1,470 at current guidance. This is not the official price of Honor, so it should not be taken as the final price of the device.
Honor is also working on a smartphone with a retractable screen
The fourth novelty may be an even more unusual device — a smartphone with roll-up or retractable display. According to available information, Honor is developing a wide ordinary smartphone, the screen of which will be able to increase the working area thanks to the sliding mechanism. However, there are almost no details yet. It is not known what kind of design Honor will use, how much the display will increase and when such a device may enter the market. Therefore, this project should still be considered as a promising development, and not as a smartphone with a close presentation date.
Honor is preparing several experimental formats at once
If the information from Digital Chat Station is confirmed, Honor’s immediate plans cover several different directions at once: a smartphone with an additional rear display, an ultra-large device of the X series, a wide folding phone and a model with a rollable screen. The most questions at the moment are exactly that wide foldable Honoras the combination of a 7.6-inch internal display, a periscopic camera and a battery of more than 7,000 mAh could make it a prominent representative of the next generation of foldable smartphones. However, all the given characteristics remain unconfirmed. Honor has not yet announced the official names, specifications or launch date of these devices.
