If you do nothing, Google will collect all of your personal information every time you do something on YouTube or Google. Even if you clear the search history from your browser, it still exists.
But many of us don't like what Google is doing. Here's how to properly clear your Google and YouTube search history. To be honest, most of the work was done by our friends from Daily Star. So they deserve all the respect.
How to clear your phone's search history
Obviously, there are several ways to clean up what you've been searching for online.
- With the YouTube app open, tap and hold the history icon next to the suggested search results. In the next pop-up window, just click "Delete".
- You can also change your settings in the YouTube app if you don't want YouTube to save anything related to what you've searched for online.
- Select Settings > Manage entire history by tapping your profile picture. When you see the option to save YouTube history, simply uncheck the box that says "Include your YouTube searches".
One of the most practical aspects of Android is the Google Search app, which allows any Android user to instantly get search results by tapping the search bar on the home screen. You can press and hold certain search results to remove them from your phone's history, similar to YouTube.

However, to completely erase them, you need to follow these instructions. They are simple. So we think that none of you will encounter difficulties:
- On your Android phone, launch the Google app, tap your profile picture, and select Search History.
- Click Remove > Clear All to remove everything.
- To delete searches for a specific time period, simply select Delete > Delete Custom Period.
