Rumors and reports of truly wireless Earpods 3 have been circulating for some time now. Since Apple held its September event, the AirPods 3 have yet to be announced.
A new report from DigiTimes claims that AirPods 3, Apple's upcoming truly wireless offering, is already in production and suppliers have started shipping it to Apple.
The report also says that initial TWS shipments were low, suggesting why Apple's third-generation AirPods weren't announced at the launch of the iPhone 13 series.
What do we know about AirPods 3?

Now it seems that Apple will launch AirPods 3 soon as it now has enough supplies needed for the launch. A launch event may happen soon, but the giant has not yet announced that it will host a new event.
Rumors suggest that Apple may soon hold an event for new Mac products based on the successor to the M1, so we can expect the 2nd generation AirPods Pro and 3rd generation AirPods to launch alongside them.
There are certain images of the AirPods 3 going around in circles, hinting at the design of the headphones. The headphones will likely have shorter stems and add a front-facing microphone, with the leak showing the regular white color of the AirPods.
A new chipset with support for Apple Music Lossless may also appear. An increase in battery life can also be an addition to new headphones.
What else is Apple doing?

In other Apple-related news, Apple is believed to have quietly discontinued the 256GB version of the 2020 iPhone SE.
In case you didn't know, there are three storage options for the iPhone SE: 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB, but now the Apple Store, as we've checked, only shows two options: 64GB and 128GB.
The device is still priced the same, with the 64GB iPhone SE model available for $399 and the 128GB variant for $449. The presumably discontinued model sold for $549.
The move appears to be related to the upcoming successor to the iPhone SE, as the company appears to be shifting its focus to the third-generation iPhone SE models, which are likely to launch in 2022.
According to similar reports, the iPhone SE 3 is likely to be Apple's cheapest 5g device. it is expected to have a design similar to the iPhone XR, but with some camera differences. Most likely, it will have a single rear camera and will be powered by the iPhone 14's A12 Bionic soc.
